Leading with Heart
Psychosynthesis Counselling
A space to meet yourself more fully
There are times in life when we can feel overwhelmed, disconnected or uncertain of who we are. We may find ourselves caught in familiar patterns, struggling in relationships, navigating loss or change, or feeling that somewhere along the way we've lost touch with ourselves.
I'm Ruth, a psychosynthesis counsellor in training, offering one-to-one counselling under professional supervision. My approach recognises that while our experiences shape us, they do not define us. Alongside our difficulties, we each carry strengths, wisdom and the potential for growth and change.
Leading with Heart offers a compassionate, reflective space to explore these experiences, to understand more deeply what has shaped us and to reconnect with parts of ourselves that may have been overlooked, silenced or forgotten.
Together, we can begin to explore not only what may be holding you back, but also what might be emerging — creating space for greater self-awareness, compassion and the freedom to make choices that feel more aligned with who you are.
What this work can support
Psychosynthesis counselling can support you to explore your inner experience with compassion, curiosity and care.
This work can help you to:
understand yourself with greater kindness and clarity
recognise the parts of you that may be carrying fear, shame, grief or protection
create more space between your deeper Self and old patterns of survival
listen more fully to your body, heart and inner wisdom
develop steadiness in the face of difficult emotions
make choices that feel more honest, grounded and aligned
reconnect with meaning, purpose and aliveness
There can come a point in healing where the question is no longer only, “What happened to me?” but also, “What is life asking of me now?”
This does not mean bypassing pain or rushing towards resolution. It means that, when we are ready, healing can open the heart — not in a sentimental way, but in a grounded, truthful and deeply human way.
What you might bring
You may be drawn to this work if you are:
navigating difficult or overwhelming experiences
feeling disconnected from yourself, your body or your emotions
noticing protective patterns such as withdrawal, control, over-responsibility or self-abandonment
experiencing strong or confusing emotions such as grief, anxiety, anger or numbness
navigating relationship wounds, separation, loss or major life transition
feeling stuck in old patterns that no longer serve you
longing to feel more whole, grounded and alive
seeking a deeper connection to meaning, purpose or spiritual growth
You do not need to have a clear name for what has happened to you. You may simply know that something in you is asking to be heard.
